Going on holiday? Don't waste what's in your fridge.

Check your fridge a few days before you go on holiday and plan meals to use the food that's in it. Lots of things can also be frozen for later: cheese (might go crumbly but fine for cooking), yogurt (use in smoothies or just eat frozen), fruit juice (put in ice lolly moulds) and milk (full-fat might have "bits" in it when defrosted but tastes fine).

If you have salad, just stand at the fridge door and eat it out of the bag!
