Report into waste audits in schools. We carried out waste audits in 13 schools in a wide variety of settings. In 9 of these schools we carried out a repeat audit and in 2 of these we did a second repeat at a later date, giving a total of 24 audits. Each audit was accompanied by a range of work to convey the results of the audit to pupils, staff and parents and to then support the school in addressing the actions needed to reduce waste levels. In one school we took a different approach and audited food waste only.
