Pumpkin Stall

Come along and check out what to do with your leftover pumpkin.  The Zero Waste Volunteers will be on hand to give advice on composting and reducing food waste.  Free face painting, pumpkin soup to try and seeds to take home.

We are at North Kessock 10-12pm; and Simpsons Garden Centre 2.30-4.30pm.

Jazz up your garden with some funky flowers!

If you have visited a community event recently, you may have noticed the lovely plastic bottle flowers that volunteers have made.  Particularly eyecatching and effective in a garden, if you would like to make your own, see the attachment below.

Zero Waste Volunteers are available to set up displays, hold workshops or do walkabouts at community events or galas.  Please do give Katy a bell on 01349 867063 or zerowastevolunteers@rowan.org.uk if you would like us to come along!

 

 

 

Pumpkin Party

Cheeky PumpkinBe part of the great Pumpkin Party extravaganza!  Families are invited to come along and enter our Crazy Decorated Pumpkin competition, pick up some scrummy pumpkin recipes, learn how you could grow your own for next year with free seeds and get composting tips for those carving leftovers!  Taste some fab pumpkin soup and enjoy the day!
