Green & Easy Christmas - Get Swapping Not Shopping

santa slims his bin

RoWAN's Green and Easy Christmas event is fast approaching. ............Time to start looking out your unwanted clothes, household items, children's books, toys etc for the Swap table! Bring along that party outfit you know you won’t wear again or those winter clothes the children have outgrown. Swapping stuff instead of throwing it out and buying more will save on carbon pollution, time and money.

Other activities at the event will include Christmas crafts for both adults and children, information on composting and waste reduction, the Ullapool High smoothie bike, Fair Trade lunches and a Christmas cookery demonstration........and come and meet Waste Wabbit and friends and help him recycle.

For more information, or to volunteer to come along and help on the day do get in touch. Read more
