Offer unwanted sheet music to local school-music departments or music teachers. Musical instruments are often quite valuable – look into selling them through advertisements or music shops. Charity shops may also take instruments. If they are not in good condition, see Yellow Pages for repairers or second-hand dealers which may be able to tell you if the instrument can be repaired or used for spare parts.
