CHRISTMAS is coming... Cut down waste and save money!

Here are some other tips:

Buy a living tree in a pot. Replace crackers with edible or home-made treats. Send ecards or make your own. Try not to overbuy food.

Stuck for present ideas .........try these:

“Experience presents” e.g. dance or other classes, therapies, theatre/film tickets, subscriptions, memberships, or gifts which help others eg www.oxfamunwrapped.com.

Buy second hand, avoid battery powered goods or use rechargeable batteries.

Make your own presents e.g. Christmas food hampers.

After the festivities remember to recycle cards, cardboard and Christmas trees. Donate unwanted presents/old equipment to charity shops, see our contacts list for local charities.

And have a MERRY WASTE-FREE CHRISTMAS
