Scarecrow Festival Winners Awarded Prizes!
Prizes were presented to the schools on the 18th of August. The prizes have a gardening theme: kid friendly gardening tools, gloves, seeds, wheel barrow and eco books for Central PS Nursery and Dalneigh PS. Millburn Academy was presented with student cookbooks, waterbottles, vouchers and book tokens that they can spend appropriately for their school. Look for a photo of Dalneigh PS in this weeks' Inverness Courier.
All entries to the Scarecrow Festival will receive a certificate of participation too. RoWAN would like to thank all of the Scarecrow Festival participants and everyone who went online to vote for helping to make RoWAN's inaugural Scarecrow Festival a success! We hope that people will remember the scarecrows and think about the food we eat, where it comes from and where it ends up! Remember, if you need any ideas on how to reduce your waste, get in touch or browse our website.
