ILM (Highland)

They offer businesses throughout the north of Scotland a collection and/or drop-off service for all types of WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment).

At their Alness site they have:

• bulk storage and transfer facilities
• workshops for the repair and re-use of appliances
• local retail outlets for re-usable products from bulky waste
• facilities for dismantling items to send elsewhere for further reprocessing
• partnerships with specialist organisations to re-process particular items, such as those containing precious metals or hazardous waste

They currently provide a disposal service to nationally accredited standards throughout the Highlands and north east Scotland for local producers and manufacturers, retailers and local authorities. WEEE is collected from all over the north of Scotland and our operation now extends into the central belt of Scotland.

The site’s entire operation is fully licenced to deal with all categories of WEEE
